Gamdom Fixes Crash House Edge and Credits Players $589,000
An outside audit found the crypto casino's Crash game kept up to 3% of bets, not 1%. The payout covers just over a third of the auditor's estimate of what players lost.

Gamdom said on Nov. 4 that it rewrote the formula behind its Crash game after an outside audit found the house edge ran as high as 3%, not the advertised 1%. The casino credited 1,293 player accounts.
The payout is $339,113 in balance adjustments plus $250,000 in reload credits, about $589,000 in all.
That is just over a third of the $1.58 million that ProvablyFair, the testing group behind the audit, estimates the extra edge cost Crash players from January to October.
Gamdom Changes the Formula and Pays Past Bets
The house edge is the share of every bet a casino expects to keep over time. ProvablyFair's Nov. 1 investigation found Gamdom's published Crash code returned 98% at a 2x cash-out target and 97.21% at 10x, against the 99% the site advertised.
Gamdom confirmed the finding on X. It said the real edge ranged from 1% to 3% depending on the player's target, and that the new formula applies a flat 1% at every target.
The casino said it re-ran past rounds under the new formula. Wherever a player's auto-cashout target would now have been reached, it recorded the bet as a win and credited the balance.
Crash has been temporarily removed from the list of available originals.
Seeding Questions Stay Open
ProvablyFair had proposed a different refund method: each stake multiplied by the gap between 99% and the real return at its target. Gamdom's method covers only bets whose auto-cashout target would now have been reached.
The audit also found Gamdom switched Crash to a new hash chain between Oct. 9 and Oct. 26 without notice. A hash chain is the locked-in sequence of results that lets players verify each round.
We found no public commitment for the new chain, so players cannot confirm the sequence was chosen fairly. That window includes the days Gamdom spent offline after its $3 million hot wallet breach.
Gamdom's statement does not address the seeding finding.
