Duel Shuts Down 24-Hour Blackjack Table After Studio Break-in

Duel Blackjack, the round-the-clock live table run by the crypto casino Duel, is offline.

FairGambling opened the table on Sept. 17 and got one notice: “This table is currently closed. Go to another table in the lobby to keep playing.” A staff account said management shut the stream down after an intruder got into the studio building, and that a suspect was taken into custody and nobody was hurt.

The table has run through every previous Duel scandal without going off air. Dealers worked the felt in Nazi uniform and gave salutes mid-hand in May; another broadcast that month put an armless dealer in the seat. There is no public record of Duel shutting the table down before this week.

The announcement lands two days after Duel apologized for an AI-generated video of the streamer Sneako praying on that blackjack table. The company fired the dealer who hosted the stream, and Sneako said he would sue.

Duel put the clip on its own social accounts. It was not real footage, and multiple reports described it as showing Sneako thanking the casino for creating "the first halal casino."

That line comes from Duel's Sept. 15 statement, which said its own content team made the edit. It added that Nelli, the dealer and host who fronted the table, had been fired.

Sneako, whose legal name is Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy, said on a Sept. 15 livestream that he has no connection to Duel. He called the clip part of the company's "marketing campaign" and said he would take the casino to court.

Founder Ossi "Monarch" Ketola posted on Instagram that he did not approve of the video, then deleted the post hours later, according to multiple industry reports.
