Duelbits Lines Up $7.7 Million to Refill Hot Wallets After Hack

Duelbits has lined up almost $7.7 million to restock its hot wallets, after a hack that took about $7 million on Sept. 24. A hot wallet is the online wallet a casino pays withdrawals from.

That matters to every player waiting to cash out. Co-founder Joe posted the three wallets holding the money on X late on Sept. 25, so anyone can check them.

FairGambling checked all three on Sept. 26. Together they hold 2,000 ETH, 5,704 SOL, 128 BNB and $1.5 million in stablecoins, in line with what Joe listed.

The Money Sits Ready to Move

FairGambling's wallet tracker counts the three wallets as Duelbits wallets. That is why the tracked balance jumped from $1.2 million on Sept. 25 to more than $8 million on Sept. 26.

None of the three had sent any money out as of 9:50 a.m. UTC on Sept. 26. Joe wrote that they "will be used to stock" the hot wallets, and the site is still offline, so that transfer is still to come.

Duelbits Keeps Players in the Loop

Joe confirmed the hack on X on Sept. 24 and kept the site offline while the team investigated.

Until we have clarity, Duelbits stays offline. User funds are safe.

He has repeated that promise since. On Sept. 25 he apologized for "a little more downtime" and said players could withdraw immediately once the site returns.

Just after midnight UTC on Sept. 26, he replied to a user on X that the site "will be up within 24 hours." If that holds, the site reopens by midnight UTC on Sept. 27.

The first transfers out of these three wallets will show the refill under way.
