Stake Turns Kick Watch Time Into Casino Rewards With Account Linking
A three-step page at stake.com/connect ties a viewer's Kick account to their Stake account, unlocking a reward claimable on the casino. Neither company has said how it relates to the existing Kick Drops.

Stake said on Aug. 4 that watch time on Kick now earns rewards on its casino, once a viewer links the two accounts.
The offer routes a streaming audience into a gambling account across two commonly owned businesses.
Three Steps to Join
The flow lives at stake.com/connect. Step one is a Stake login. Step two links a Kick account. Step three points the viewer to Kick to see the reward.

The page says linking "unlocks access to your exclusive reward," which can be claimed "directly on Stake." It names no watch-time threshold, reward value, or eligibility terms.
The reward is casino credit, as opposed to a cash payment.
Shared Founders Sit Behind Both Platforms
Bijan Tehrani and Ed Craven co-founded Stake and later launched Kick. Forbes reports they built the streaming platform after Twitch barred Stake from advertising over insufficient consumer protections. The two are run as separate companies.
Kick already ran a watch-time rewards mechanic. Kick's developer documentation describes Drops as rewards viewers earn on participating streams, tracked in two-minute increments and claimed from an inventory page, with account linking required first.
Stake promoted its own Kick Drops explainer on X on Dec. 24, 2025, describing vouchers spendable at its casino.
Neither company has said whether the new linking program replaces Kick Drops, extends it or runs beside it.
Until Stake publishes terms, the watch-time thresholds, the reward size and any wagering conditions attached to it remain unstated.
