Stake's Exclusive Game Studios Spin Out as Juice and Open to All Operators

Five game studios that supplied Stake exclusively began selling to rival casinos on Sept. 9, launching together as a supplier called Juice.

Juice says the 100-plus games in that catalogue took more than $12 billion in turnover while they were available on one site only. Any operator that integrates the supplier can now list them.

One Integration Carries All Five Studios

The lineup is Twist Gaming, Massive Studios, Knucklehead Syndicate, Monstrums and The Originals. Twist and Massive anchor it with Drac's Stacks, Bank Basher and the Rooster series, according to the launch announcement.

Monstrums builds Mystery Box games that pay out physical prizes such as cars and game consoles. The Originals makes fast house games, including dice and mines.

All five reach operators through a single remote game server, the hosted platform that runs a game and returns its results to a casino. That leaves a buyer with one integration and one commercial relationship for the whole library.

Roobet is the first operator live with the full catalogue, and Juice plans one slot, two Originals-style games and one Mystery Box every week.

"For years, the only place you could play these games was Stake."

Founder and Chief Executive Brais Pena Sanchez said that in the launch announcement. He was part of Stake's founding team and later served as chief operating officer and then chief strategy officer at Easygo, the group behind Stake and the streaming site Kick.

Ownership Questions Trail the Spin-Out

Easygo grouped these studios once before. It launched Easygo Games on Jan. 27 as an umbrella over Twist Gaming, Massive Studios, Paperclip, Uppercut and Knucklehead Syndicate, wired together through Stake Engine, the remote game server since rebranded as Engine. Paperclip and Uppercut are absent from the Juice lineup.

The announcement does not say whether Easygo keeps an ownership stake, and Twist Gaming's own site still describes its titles as exclusive to Stake.

Juice said its first industry appearance is SBC Summit Lisbon, which runs Sept. 29 to Oct. 1.
