BetFury Reports 66% User Surge: But On-Chain Deposits Tell a Different Story

The crypto casino's $600,000 Fury World Cup '26 results release pairs 66.1% user growth with a 7.53% deposit rise and no absolute figures. FairGambling's on-chain tracker shows BetFury deposits down 16.6% over 30 days.

BetFury Reports 66% User Surge: But On-Chain Deposits Tell a Different Story

BetFury said on Aug. 11 that the World Cup promotion it closed on July 27 lifted active users 66.1%, while deposits rose 7.5%.

Both figures come from the same results release, which also puts gross gaming revenue, the money a casino keeps after paying winners, up 74.7%. Revenue grew roughly 10 times faster than the money players put in.

The release gives no absolute totals for users, deposits, or revenue.

Deposit Growth Trails the User Claim

BetFury measured the campaign against the 43 days before it. But the campaign itself ran longer: its own launch release dated the event from June 11 to July 27, which is 47 days.

A longer window inflates every total just by lasting longer. Adjust for those extra four days and the deposit growth disappears. Per day, players put in slightly less money during the campaign than before it. The 16.9% rise in total bets shrinks to about 7%.

The $600,000 prize pool was also not all cash. In each of three sports battles, 150 winners split $40,000 in free bets and BFG, BetFury's own token.

The Numbers Sit Outside Any Audit

What matters most is how many of our users took part, and a 74.66% jump in GGR shows that engagement translated into real commercial return.

The release attributes that quote to BetFury's chief executive and does not name them.

BetFury is privately held and issues its announcements from Willemstad, Curacao. It publishes no audited accounts, so none of the percentages can be checked against a filing.

FairGambling's Tracker Shows the Money Moving Out

FairGambling's live analytics, which follow deposit and withdrawal flows on-chain for 77 crypto casinos, point the other way. In the 30 days to Aug. 11, BetFury took in $15.1 million across 37.6k deposits, down 16.6% from the prior 30 days.

Players withdrew $16.8 million, a net outflow of $1.7 million.

FairGambling Statistics, BetFury

The 90-day view is steeper: $51.0 million deposited, down 45.9% from the previous period, against $57.0 million withdrawn, a net outflow of $6.1 million. BetFury now ranks 23rd of the 77 tracked casinos by 90-day deposit volume or 26th by 7-day deposit volume, suggesting it is gradually losing ground to more popular venues.

These windows differ from the release's 43-day comparison, so the figures are not directly comparable. The direction is comparable: across both FairGambling windows, deposit volume is falling, not growing.

Its half-year report on July 30 claimed 40% growth in registrations and 20% in deposits for January through June, again without a baseline. The next test is the company's report for the second half of 2026, which it has not scheduled.
