Rank Group Expects Record £834m Revenue for FY26
Digital growth of 8% and a bigger Grosvenor machine estate push Rank to a record year, even as it sets aside £5m to settle a UK Gambling Commission case.

Rank Group expects to report record annual revenue of £834.1m for the year to 30 June 2026, up 6% on last year's record of £795.3m, with underlying operating profit set to land at the top end of market expectations.
In a trading update, the Grosvenor and Mecca owner said like-for-like net gaming revenue grew across every segment, led by an 8% rise in its digital business. Q4 digital revenue jumped 12% year-on-year to £63.9m, holding up despite the higher UK remote gaming duty that took effect on 1 April.
- Grosvenor venues remained the largest earner at £397.3m, up 5%.
- Gaming machine revenue is up 12% in Q4 after the estate expanded by 850 terminals.
- Mecca is forecast at £143.0m and Spanish-facing Enracha at £45.3m.
Alongside the numbers, Rank flagged a £5m provision for a proposed settlement with the UK Gambling Commission over historical compliance failings at Grosvenor Casinos. The regulator is "minded to accept" the offer, and Rank says remedial actions were substantially implemented in the first half.
Richard Harris, confirmed as permanent CEO on 13 July, said the group grew despite "significant" cost and tax headwinds while protecting digital revenues. Rank publishes full preliminary FY26 results on 13 August, when the settlement and profit figures should be confirmed.
Why It Matters
Rank's results show how rising UK duty and compliance costs are squeezing licensed operators, the same pressure that pushes some players toward offshore and crypto sites facing far lighter oversight.
A record year built partly on a bigger machine estate and tighter marketing shows the regulated model still works, but a £5m Gambling Commission provision on top of a higher remote gaming duty is a reminder to the industry at large of the cost of staying inside the rules.
